The one with the Watts Up Pro…

In order to monitor and plan the power use requirements for the RV, I bought a Watts Up Pro unit.  It is very much like the much cheaper Kill-A-Watt except it has a USB port, software suite, and API.  I wanted the ability to keep onboard log that can be exported to a standard format.  Read the rest of this entry »

So the recent discussion has been about the selection criteria for our RV.  We had initially been thinking that a Class A (Motorcoach) was the right fit; but recently bumped into a “Toy Hauler”.  This has gotten us to revisit the 5th wheel concept again.

The one where I start to catch up…

Well, after months of contemplation about my first attempt at a WebLog entry, I have decided to simply start to catch up.  I will be focusing on purely personal topics related to my (further?) departure from “standard” living.  There are many things to cover: house renovations, living quarters shopping, jobbing, and the like.  Since I am so far behind, I am going to simply start by way of introduction, trying not to overlap Vanessa’s comments.  Since I am so far behind, this one may be longer than usual.
